    National Water and Electricity Authority

I began my career in power-system engineering with a national water and electricity authority in the Middle East.

Foundation in utility operations and network engineering.
  2. 1999

    National Transmission Utility

I managed a US$1.2 billion transmission and distribution portfolio and helped complete a national grid project, which led to the creation of a regional interconnection authority.

    Large-scale T&D delivery and cross-border interconnection.

EcoPowerHub

A Knowledge and Advisory Platform

I started EcoPowerHub in 2023 as a renewable energy blog. Since then, it has become a platform for technical insights on how energy infrastructure is prepared, financed, and delivered.

I organize my insights into six main areas:

“Good energy projects are engineered twice: once on paper for the financiers and once in the field for the people who depend on them. My work is to ensure both versions agree.”
